Get to Know Me

Hi! I'm Bevin DeMuth.

Bevin DeMuth, Ever Mindfull Therapist

My Background

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW75553) in the state of California and founder of Ever Mindfull.

I’ve been working in the field of psychological care since 2004.  I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the San Jose State University and completed a Bachelor in Psychology from University of Washington in Seattle and graduated Cum Laude. I started out working with adolescents and older adults, later expanding my work towards adults and couples. My experience expands several different settings at many clinics, schools, hospitals, and NIH funded research projects including +10 years at Stanford University School of Medicine Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. I’ve worked with a variety of clients; those struggling with severe psychiatric mental illnesses, medical conditions, persons in recovery, couples dealing with a wide range of relational problems and more. But more than these résumé bullet points, I bring exceptional warmth, intuition, candor, and agility to my clients.

My Focus

The Bay Area and hub of Silicon Valley is characteristically home to people with ambitious careers, long hours and full schedules. Individuals and couples with big life goals, high opportunity, full of innovative ideas, and overall busy, demanding lives.

For the most part, people have areas where they are succeeding.

Nonetheless there are frustrating things that keep individuals and couples from feeling entirely fullfilled. Maybe they are searching for a boost or different perspective on an area of life, some have additional setbacks with depression, anxiety, or even trauma. There are those who feel stuck and tried to work it out on their own but feeling like they are going in circles, not able to get the problem solved. I also work with couples who would say their relationship is “good, even “great” overall but looking to improve it that much more (!), looking to get even closer, to grow, to polish their communication and strengthen their bond.

Let’s Get Personal

These days you can find me in the San Francisco Bay Area living with my husband and two children, for the food and weather and my need to be near the ocean.

When motherhood allows for enough sleep, I love to indulge in whipping up spicy new recipes, beach days on the northern California coast, family bike days, and finding time for fitness. I constantly daydream of new places to travel, ways to improve my house, and all the hobbies I want to try before it's too late. As perfect as that sounds, the truth is most days are spent doing everyday things like playing epic rounds of hide and seek, checking homework, running a busy household, and collapsing on the couch once everyone is in bed, but at the end of the day, I share these “normal” activities with the people I love and it provides a “full” ness I couldn’t find elsewhere.

I’ve had my own life journey and could list my personal hills and valleys, the highs and the lows, moments of achievements and epic failures, but when it comes down to it, I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, foodie, health conscious person, lover of outdoors, and a pajama-day enthusiast but not afraid of getting dirty and sweaty from hard work too.
